DRESS REHEARSAL FOR
RECREATIONAL CLASSES
The recreational class dress rehearsal is held at McDonough High School on Thursday, June 18th. The schedule will be posted below once available.
Dress rehearsal is MANDATORY for all recreational students! Please let your student's teacher or a studio manager know if your dancer cannot attend their rehearsal.
NOTE: Dress Rehearsal is closed so dancers only, please!
*Parents of Creative Movement and Tiny Triple Threats classes may sit in the auditorium with their child.
Dancers must arrive 15 minutes before their rehearsal time block in costume and may leave when their dance is finished.
TICKET SALES AND PROCEDURE
Ticket sale date is to be determined. Each dancer receives two (2) complimentary tickets; parents must sign for tickets at the time of pickup.

Please Note: All fees must be paid in full before tickets can be purchased. Tickets are NOT available for sale through email or over the phone; all purchases must be made in person at the studio.

RECITAL COSTUMES
Recital costumes are being handed out to classes as we receive them.
Please review the costume for your child's class in the parent portal by clicking the "COSTUMES" button on the left side. Shoes, tights, and accessory information will be posted below once available.
Be sure to mark your dancer's name in their costume before recital day.
Dancers must arrive at McDonough High School 30 minutes before recital time dressed in their costume, with hair and makeup complete.
All dancers will remain backstage until the final bow.
PICTURE WEEK
Group and individual pictures will be at the studio May 18th-20th for Recreational and Company classes. Regularly scheduled classes will not occur.

RECITAL PROGRAM
Our program is entirely digital! When finalized, we will provide links below to view the program for the show you are attending. QR codes will also be available at the auditorium for each show.
Personal ads in our recital program are a great way to recognize your special dancer, B. Funk instructor, or staff member! We also offer business ads to get the word out about local companies and services.
Pricing will be posted soon, below are the types of ads available.
- Personal ad with text only
- Personal ad with text and photo
- Business ad
Ads must first be paid for by logging in to the parent portal and purchasing the ad in our online store by going to SHOP at the top of the page. Then email the text of what you would like your ad to say along with your photo (if applicable) to info@bfunk.com. The deadline for purchasing ads is May 31st.
FLOWERS
If you choose to present your dancer with flowers to congratulate them on a job well done, please purchase them from an outside vendor prior to arriving at the recital. We are not permitted to sell flowers on-site.
RECITAL T-SHIRTS
Recital t-shirts will be available for pre-order ONLY through our Online Store in the parent portal (In the parent portal, select the SHOP tab at the top of the page). Supply is limited!
Pricing will be available soon and we will have Youth (S,M,L) and Adult (S,M,L,XL,XXL) sizes. It is a black short sleeve t-shirt with the white BFunk logo on the left chest and the recital theme graphic on the back.
All orders due TBD.
We will not be selling t-shirts at the recital shows.
- VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers keep our shows running smoothly by helping with costume changes, lining up dancers, and chaperoning dancers in the dressing rooms. They may be moms, dads, older siblings, or close relatives.
Volunteers are not required to purchase a recital ticket to the show they volunteer for and are able to watch their dancer's routine by stepping into the audience one number before they perform.
We will have an online sign-up closer to recital time.
